Points that come up often:
- Free is not a trial. It never expires and nothing is held back on one device.
- Codes, autofill and export never depend on sync or on our servers being reachable.
- Passkeys follow the same rule as codes: everything on one device in Free, synced with Pro.
- Several free devices are allowed. A free user can copy accounts to other devices by hand (with a move or a backup file). The copies don't stay in step: that's what sync is for. Turning on sync later joins the copies (see Syncing Autothenticator across devices (Pro and Business)).
